Carol K. Tweed, M.D.

Dr. Tweed attended Duke University, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biology. She received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She then moved to Philadelphia, where she completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Upon completion of fellowship training, Dr. Tweed spent six years as a clinical oncologist and educator of medical students and house staff at the University, during which time she developed a robust oncology practice, primarily focused on breast cancer. With AAMC Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Tweed sees a broad range of patients with diagnoses in oncology and hematology.

She lives in Annapolis with her husband and two children. Dr. Tweed is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
